Diane Raverdy-Lambert is chief scientist and director of regulatory affairs at SWM International. She is playing a leadership role with respect to tobacco, papers, and filtering media solutions for combustible and next-generation tobacco products, road mapping technology and product design, quality assurance and stewardship patterns. Her senior expertise in scientific, fact-based studies is key to anticipate challenges and to support clients and partners.
After graduating with a master’s degree agricultural engineering, Raverdy-Lambert joined SWM’s reconstituted tobacco business in 1990 as a product developer and worked in several R&D, product development, and regulatory affairs positions. She is participating actively to CORESTA, serving on the scientific commission and the board, including terms as president of the Product Technology Study Group and as president and vice-president of the board.
Raverdy-Lambert is also engaged in ISO standardization activities related to tobacco and tobacco products (ISO/TC 126) through the French AFNOR V37B committee.
