Carl is Senior Vice President for DRL Enterprises, an affiliate of the Republic Group of companies. Mr. Ioos’ responsibilities for DRL have included management of corporate development, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory affairs for Top Tobacco and Republic Brands. Following the passage of the Tobacco Control Act, Carl’s responsibilities expanded to managing FDA compliance and regulatory affairs for the Group’s tobacco and tobacco components businesses. Mr. Ioos has worked in the tobacco industry since 1991 and has presented on a range of business and governmental affairs topics, at industry and regulatory conferences. Carl earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University at Albany and an MBA from Pace University.
